CDR500 Feature Highlight - Automaster™
When recording is made on a stand alone CD recorder an Orange Book (CDR) disk is produced. To create a Glass Master for duplication a Red Book (CD-DA) disk is required.
When recording in Disk-at-Once mode o the CDR500, the data is written in one run without interruption (single speed only). This produces a Red Book standard disk, ready for creating a glass master.
Marantz CDR510
The Marantz Professional CDR510 is a twin deck player/recorder with fully independent outputs for each deck and is equally suited to installation or studio environments. A full array of inputs and outputs including balanced XLR inputs allow professional quality connection to a wide range of other equipment, whilst RS232C remote control permits integration into external control systems such as AMX. In addition the CDR510 has a built in MP3 decoder on the player deck, allowing MP3 files to be played back directly from CDR.

...additional information
One CD-R with MP3 files burned to it can hold many albums worth of music. The ability to playback and manipulate these files gives the CDR510 a unique versatility in any installation environment. Not only can it playback MP3, but many of the features available on standard CD playback are also applied to MP3 playback, such as random play and pitch control. The rotary control on the front panel of the CDR510 makes navigation through folder structures easy.
In addition to a high specification CD Recorder, the CDR510 also includes a CD player that can act as a source for the CD recorder (with the facility for dual speed copying) or as an entirely independent playback machine. When used as the source, the user can select the level of SCMS copy protection for the destination CDR, while any CD text information present on the source disk will be transferred automatically. When not used for duplication purposes, the CDR510 can operate as a standalone recorder (from external analogue and digital sources) or for playback from the CDR and/or CD decks simultaneously.
