Tascam CC-222 Cassette & CDR/RW Recorder

The TASCAM CC-222 combines a professional-quality stereo cassette deck with a CD-RW drive in a single unit. Designed to provide an integrated solution for recording CDs from analogue sources such as vinyl and cassette, and for versatile, space-saving, combined playback of CD and cassette based programme material. The CC-222 features dedicated grounded RIAA phono inputs that can be connected directly from a turntable, enabling the easy transfer of vinyl material to CD. Additionally the variety analogue and digital connections enables the alternative or simultaneous burning of CDs or recording of cassettes from external audio sources. It also offeres internal dubbing from cassette-to-CD and CD-to-cassette and its CD-RW drive allows the use of rewritable CDs.

Tascam CD-RW402 - Professional, Dual Drive CD-RW Recorder / Duplicator / Player

Featuring fully professional specifications and a uniquely versatile operational feature set, the CD-RW402 is built around industrial grade drives, and provides up to 4x hi-speed duplication of both audio and data CD formats.

The CD-RW402 is able to master Red Book standard CDs with Disc At Once record mode, a unique TOC edit function and display of ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) and RID (Recorder Identification Data). Balanced analogue XLR I/O interfaces, and unbalanced analogue, AES/EBU /SPDIF and TOSLINK optical digital interfaces are included. Separate and common audio output signals from the two decks can be connected. A 25-pin parallel machine control port is incorporated, as is a PS/2 computer keyboard connector to input CD-Text.

High performance 24 bit AD convertors with dither circuitry provide improved resolution and dynamic range of encoded analogue signals for high quality digital (re)mastering. The unit supports recording and duplications of CD, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-R-DA, CD-RW-DA discs and CD-DA (with CD TEXT), CD-ROM (ISO9660), CD EXTRA recording formats.

CD-Recorder functions include record mute, Sync recording, adjustable digital gain and fade-in/ fade-out, sample rate conversion, by-passable in Digital Direct mode, and auto ID. Advanced replay functions are available on both drives and include call, auto cue, auto ready and stutter srub to enable frame accurate setting of location points; the replay deck further provides pitch control and two locate point functions. Front panel display includes separate status display for either deck, including adjustable peak level metering and 12-character text. Individual jog wheel/ data controls are included for each deck. A 1/4 inch headphone jack with source selector and level control in included.
