St. John's & St. Stephens's church

St. John's & St. Stephen's church in Reading is a modern multipurpose building, the main worship area being shared with the local primary school. As such the sound system needed to be flexible yet very easy to operate. The Bose 402 speakers were fitted into custom finished cabinets to blend against the roof timbers. The custom built desk houses the mixer and associated cassette deck, CD player, induction loop amplifier and radio microphone receivers. The mix of cabled and radio microphones ensures total flexibility for both school and church use. The distributed sound system covers offices, refectory and quiet rooms as well as the kitchen area, allowing people here to still feel part of the events going on in the main worship area.
