DB Opera Lyric Series Speakers

Building on the huge success of the OPERA series, the all-new OPERA LYRIC series feature newly developed bass drivers with paper cones which makes them lighter, resulting in improved transient response with a wider frequency range. These speakers feature a new magnet assembly which develops twice the flux density with less weight. A re-design of the cross-over has produced a smoother performance with improved clarity.

The Active Series

The addition of an LED on the front cover indicates when the speaker is switched on. The active models in the OPERA Lyric Series offer excellent performance, easy handling, a high degree of flexibility with minimal weight. This power to weight ratio makes the OPERA Lyric series unique in its class. The low resonance, shatterproof polypropylene cabinets with built-in mountings can be floor, stand or wall mounted. The angled back offers 60° and 45° options. The integrated 90° x 60° wave guide with 1" driver achieves through its special shape a wide, even dispersion of sound pressure levels. The specially developed bass drivers with large magnets ensure high power from a compact, lightweight enclosure. There are five models in the range - 12/1" and 15/1" ranging from 140W to 450W. To extend the bass frequencies, the OPERA LYRIC series can be combined with the active subwoofer from the STAGE OPERA series.
